MyHomeCall launches free version of app
In January 2026, MyHomeCall launched a free version of their current app which allows for people to add 1 emergency contact enabling users to send their what3words location to this emergency contact from any device. This means that if your phone is out of battery, stolen or broken users still are able to contact their loved ones through any device.
The free version is very simple to set up and use. In order to set up users must create an account using their password and face recognition. Then users get to add 1 emergency contact (4 if upgrading to the full version) Once emergency contact verifies through a text message the app is fully set up and ready to go all in under 5 minutes.
In addition to the free version of MyHomeCall, there is currently a pilot offer of £5.95 for the first year of usage. The full version of the application has many more features such as being able to add and access up to 4 emergency contact, store medical information, create pre-written emergency messages and much more features which can be found in the ‘pricing’ page on MyHomeCall.com.
